Claiming America's PromiseWith July 4th approaching I went to spend the holiday with relatives in New York. As an immigrant to this great country; this picture stood out to me and reminded me of the first set of immigrants in the past arriving on boats, to freedom and new beginnings.
About Michael:
Born and raised in the Caribbean island of Grenada, I moved to New York City right after my 21st birthday. After a few years there I moved to Houston. It was the United States where I really discovered the passion I had for photography. It is something I love and enjoy.
